Airport Shuttle

Good News!

Mount Hermon coordinates airport shuttles for its writers. The shuttle service is from Mineta San Jose International Airport (and back again after the conference). It’s approximately a one-hour ride to Mount Hermon.

Signing up for the Airport Shuttle Service

  • If at all possible, aim to arrive at the San Jose Airport and depart from the San Jose Airport during the listed timeframes.

  • Cost $75. Includes round trip from the San Jose Airport.

  • Reserve and pay for the Shuttle Service with your conference registration at writers.mounthermon.org/registration

Arrival Guidelines

Wednesday
Pre-Conference Next Level Clinic

Schedule flights that arrive in San Jose ~ Wednesday, 12:00–4:00pm. Pre-Conference Clinic begins with 6:00pm dinner.

Thursday
Early Arrivals & Faculty

Schedule flights that arrive in San Jose ~ Thursday, between 11:00am & 4:00pm

Friday
Writers Conference

Schedule flights to arrive in San Jose ~ Friday, between 8:00am & 11:00am. Conference begins with lunch at 12:15pm

Allow at least two hours from your landing time to the Mount Hermon Conference Center
The San Jose Airport is about an hour drive from Mount Hermon. Please do not show up at the airport without having requested Airport Shuttle Service through the registration system. You can add your Airport Shuttle Request and charge to your initial reservation at writers.mounthermon.org/registration

Schedule your return flight on Tuesday
out of San Jose for no earlier than 10:30am, if possible. Shuttle Service begins at 8:00am

Arrivals in Terminal A

Take Inter-terminal Shuttle from Terminal A to Terminal B Baggage Claim Carousel #3. Look for a person with a Mount Hermon sign.

Arrivals in Terminal B

Congregate at Carousel #3 in Baggage Claim. Look for a person with a Mount Hermon sign.

If anything changes in your arrival or departure flight plans or in your plan to use our Shuttle Service, please notify Writers’ Conference Registrar at info@mounthermon.org or 831.335.4466. If voicemail, leave a detailed message with a cell phone number where you can be reached.

For changes in your return flight after you’ve arrived at the conference, see Bob Hodgson, Transportation Coordinator, at the Transportation Desk in the Hospitality Center (Multi-Purpose Room, bottom floor of the Dining Hall).
